Waterfalls and Vistas Fall Foliage Adventure

Saturday, October 16th (rain date October 17th) ~ 6:30a.m. to 7:00p.m

A LaMich Production ~ Join us for a guided tour full of Waterfalls and Vistas during this peak foliage time in the beautiful Blackstone Valley

The Blackstone River Valley is full of history and rich photography. Join us during this beautiful time of year. Enjoy hearing historical ditties about each location. Experience landscape and macro opportunities as we visit several waterfalls, several vistas and other locations sure to delight the senses.

In addition, hear costumed interpreters educate and amuse you during our museum tour and over dinner. If you are a photographer or just want to immerse yourself in a New England Fall day with friends, this day is for you!

Includes:

Bus and Driver, Historical Narrative, Museum tour with permission to freely explore and photograph,

Dinner at River Falls with entertaining program.
Please bring:
morning beverage/breakfast (or get it at the DD stop), picnic lunch, personal cooler, drinks, snacks, tip for the bus driver for the end of the day. Wear comfortable shoes and layered clothing and bring tripods and gear for multiple types of photo ops.

Our day begins at the Whitinsville Wal-Mart at 6:30a.m.  where we will step onto a comfortable 20 passenger chauffeured van from Worcester Airport Limo Service. Our first stop will be a Dunkin Donuts just in case anyone wants to get their coffee 'and' or use the facilities. Then we're off!

Not to share all our secrets but there will be several fantastic vistas from the hills of the Valley, several waterfalls created by historic mills of the Valley, and 'Peaceful Pond' , a small serene pond for macro opportunities such as dragonflies, cattails, and pond life.

Our picnic lunch will be in a historic park with many photogenic opportunities as well as restroom facilities (note: restroom opportunities are built into the day about every 2 hours).
Our afternoon includes an interpreter-led (think 'historical model') who will guide us through the Museum of Work and Culture. This museum is a wonderful microcosm of life in the area from 1820 to 1920. Picture 3 floors of scenes like the inside of a Roman Catholic Church complete with votive candles, authentic mosaic wall and pews. Picture a three-decker mill house with a walk-in formal parlor to explore and photograph. (note: tripods and flash will be allowed for our group inside the museum).

After the museum, we'll head over to River Falls for dinner and entertainment by Patricia Perry of
Sneak Peek Productions.

Our day ends with a quick trip back for arrival about 7:00p.m.
