In this first segment, Michelle introduces Marylynne and Bill. Bill then talks about improvements made to the E.N. Jenckes store in the last year. These include the skylight monitor project completed by DMZ Restoration and the painting done by Wise Painting of Uxbridge who specialize in historical renovations.

Douglas Historical Society Program - Frog Point Fiddlers
The Douglas Historical Society entertained the public with a free program called the Frog Point Fiddlers. The Frog Point Fiddlers are part of the Joy of Music Program.

Douglas Historical Society - Function Room and Ladies NightI People have shown a real interest in this setting. It's a unique fun setting. We've had baby showers, wedding showers and birthday parties. In December, we have a ladies shop night where we invite local artisans in to sell their wares. That event started in the function room but has grown so it is now takes up the entire museum store floor.

Douglas Historical Society - Privy and Bees Nest
During the restoration one of the workers crawled under and pulled some floor boards down and was able to open the door. Inside there was a 3-hole privy. Another surprise also came to light.
